What Fills your Cup?

It is important to identify what fills your cup up and find time to actively fill it. There is no right or wrong on what fills your cup.

Personally, I love when my husband and kids go out for a couple of hours at least so I have the house to myself to get organised. I usually clean, do paperwork or catch up on work. For years I felt guilty asking for what I needed plus was judged and felt something wrong with me as others often told me that what I was doing was not relaxing or cup filling. Though when I attempted to do what others told me was cup filling for them such as a movie, meditation, catch up with friends or so on I never felt revived.

Determine what fills your cup, whatever it is for you is right and make time to fill your cup because you deserve it.

You may be thinking I am too busy to fill my cup, there is too much to do, and I do not have time. By not taking the time people around you notice.

When you are working and communicating from an empty cup it is not only you that is affected it is the people around you. Usually, you are the unkindest to people you love the most such as your partner or children.

So, if you won’t fill your cup for yourself, fill it up for the people around you. So that they can be in the presence of the amazing person you are.
