Over the past week, I have been in Fiji attending Tony Robbins’ Life and Wealth Mastery course! What an incredible experience! In the upcoming weeks and months, I plan to share much of what I have learned.
Today, I want to share a story about a choice I made that led to an amazing opportunity: meeting and speaking with Tony Robbins in person. This is an opportunity that many people dream of.

During the break at Wealth Mastery, I received an invitation to go to the beach for some rope swinging and swimming. However, I had already scheduled to finish my blog post and then relax in the spa and sauna. I found myself in a dilemma, torn between two options:
- Going swimming.
- Completing my blog post and then enjoying the water.
I chose the second option because I had made a commitment to myself to publish the blog on time. Keeping this commitment was important to me, and it gave me a sense of empowerment.
I did think long and hard about going swimming, telling myself that I could always work on the blog later and that I was on vacation and should have fun. However, I decided to honour the commitment I had made to myself and focus on what was important to me. So, I skipped swimming and dedicated myself to completing my blog post before rejuvenating in the spa. Part of me felt like I might be missing out.
On my way to the spa, our bus unexpectedly stopped, and to my amazement, Tony Robbins was standing outside, taking photos with his security staff from Namale. I was nervous but got out of the bus with the group, and we asked him for a photo. It was a dream opportunity, one I had always wanted. I saw this unexpected encounter as a sign from the universe that I had made the right decision.
As I sit here in the sun, writing this blog post, I feel proud of myself for choosing to prioritize my commitments and goals over trying to fit in or please others. I realised that saying no to one thing can open up other opportunities.

The decisions we make truly shape our lives, and we never know what opportunities may arise when we say no.
