As each week concludes, I reflect on three profound questions. These questions tacked on my wall, serve as a compass, steering me toward my goals and prompting actionable plans for the upcoming week, ensuring I live and create the life I desire and deserve.

Questions tacked on my wall at home.

These questions facilitate balanced reflection, allowing me to identify areas for growth while also celebrating accomplishments. This shift has transformed my mindset, fostering a more positive and constructive approach to self-reflection.

Here are the 3 powerful questions that shape my weekly reflection:

This inquiry acts as a compass, guiding me through daily tasks. It prompts an honest evaluation of my efforts and helps me redirect my energy towards what truly matters.

As I review my upcoming week on the calendar, I schedule time to work towards my goals. This intentional scheduling is a crucial step in shaping the life I want and aspire to lead. This includes respectfully declining initiations to enable me to concentrate on my objectives or create space to recharge.

This question serves as a reality check, forcing me to confront the moments when I may have veered off course. It’s a reminder to recalibrate my focus and eliminate distractions that hinder productivity.

The other week I recognised a dip in my energy and effectiveness. I realised it was because I did not prioritise time for exercise and fresh air. This was predominately due to many workshops, meetings for a project launch and school end-of-year events. The following week, I proactively scheduled dedicated time for exercise, leading to an immediate and noticeable improvement in my energy levels.

This last question personally is the most important for me as it allows me the space to focus on what I have accomplished. As a self dragonised self-help junkie, I tend to look for what I can do better as opposed to acknowledging all the good I have done.

Acknowledging accomplishments, no matter how minor, acts as a driving force and imbues me with a sense of purpose. When we reflect on what worked well and understand why, it becomes a blueprint that we can replicate. This repetition ensures ongoing benefits, essentially helping us formulate a successful strategy.

The weekly reflection ritual is my anchor that helps ensure I am on track to meet my goals. Waiting until months or years have passed often leads to inefficiency and the illusion of productivity. By reflecting weekly, space is created for intentional and meaningful adjustments, ensuring that each day is meaningful.

I invite you to join me in the journey of weekly reflection. It’s a small yet powerful habit that can transform the way we approach our goals, turning each week into a stepping stone towards a more purposeful and fulfilled life.
